The goal of the ABRASION conference is to bring together experts from industry and academia working in the field of rolling cylinders and pulverizing mills, fostering a stimulating exchange of technical and scientific expertise.
Held every three years, the event attracts delegates from around the world and represents an important opportunity to share the latest advances in the materials and technologies used in these strategic industrial sectors, as well as to discuss prospects and challenges.
Researchers, manufacturers, and users of wear-resistant materials are invited to submit technical and scientific papers and to actively participate in a conference that, since its very first edition, has been distinguished by the high quality of its content, broad international participation, and an open and collaborative atmosphere that fosters the exchange of ideas and the formation of new collaborations.

CALL FOR PAPERS
All contributions on the Conference topics as described above are welcome.
Prospective authors are invited to submit a tentative title and an abstract of 400 words (in English) by January 15, 2027 The abstract should provide sufficient information for a fair assessment.

There are two ways to submit abstracts:

Submission of manuscripts & Speakers registration: 31 May 2027
Early bird registration: 7 July 2027

PROCEEDINGS
All participants will receive the Conference proceedings in digital format.
Certain papers may be considered for publication in the AIM journal "La Metallurgia Italiana - International Journal of the Italian Association for Metallurgy" which is covered in the Science Citation Index Expanded by Thomson Reuters and in Scopus by Elsevier B.V.

LANGUAGE
The official language of the ABRASION 2027 Conference will be English.
